- Q: How do I use Print Services?
A: The process is as follows:
- Verify you have budget in your POW for your print job.
- Send a copy around for approvals.
- Once you have approvals, go to the PTA Copy room and pick up the print request form in the plastic drawer called 'PTA forms'.
- Fill it out following the directions on the back and using this as an example. Be sure to put your name and number so they can contact you when the job is ready for pick-up. Turn-around time is 5 days; you can pay 20% extra for a rush job and get it sooner if needed, but do not expect to get this reimbursed without prior approval. If this is something for Tuesday folders, you will need to check with Becky in the office for the number of students in the school and a breakdown of how many are in each class. As of Oct., '09, there were 511 students at CCE.
- You need the President to sign the print form! If she is not available, the VP of Programs (Marisa Sladek) can sign it.
- Attach the approved document to the signed print services form together and deliver to office for their 'inter-office mail'. If you feel like driving it to the RRISD print services building or you need it in a hurry, they are located at 16255 Great Oaks Dr., Suite 300 78681. Their number is 512-464-6980 and email is Mary_Pokorny@roundrockisd.org. If you mail the document, the hard-copy, signed print services form still needs to be sent via inter-office mail. Otherwise, the mail works great. They will call the number on the form to let you know your print job is done. You may call them to verify they received it if you want.
- If the job is >$25 then RRISD will charge it to our PTA account. If it is < $25 you need to pick it up at their offices, pay for it, and fill out a reimbursement form (located in the PTA copy room, white plastic drawer, 'PTA Forms').
- Price for one-sided white paper/black ink is 2 cents and for one-sided colored paper/black ink is 3 cents.
- If the forms are for Tuesday folders, you will need to count out the groups using the info you received from Becky about the classes & sizes and put them in the teachers' boxes in the office. If you need something back from the form (like a tear-off portion to be returned), you may put a folder in the PTA office. Either attach a note to this effect for the teacher and affix it to each stack of forms, or you may email Susie Olson with a message to forward to the teachers asking them to place the returned info in the PTA folder that you have created and placed in the PTA office.
