Special Rules for Grades 4-5

Projects fall into one of the following categories: experiments, demonstrations/models/displays and collections. Collections are not recommended for children in grades 4 and 5.

Projects entered by 4^th/5^th grade children may NOT include any specimens of any sort, sealed or otherwise. 4^th/5^th grade projects are only allowed to have photographs of specimens.
