The most common mistake seen last year in the science fair was failing to list acknowledgements and references directly on the project board. Ackowledgements and references are responsible for up to 9 points of a student's score. Last year some disappointed students received no credit for their acknowledgements and references because they were listed in the project journal rather than on the project board itself.
