Austin Energy Regional Science Festival

The Austin Energy Regional Science Festival is the follow-on to our CCE Science Fair. Twelve to fifteen children from among the 1^st place winners will be selected to represent CCE at the Austin Energy Science Festival. Kindergarteners through second graders are NOT eligible to move on to the Austin Energy Science Festival. The Austin Energy Regional Science Festival is the final contest for elementary division projects.

In order for our CCE finalists to participate in the regional Science Festival, it is necessary for our finalist group to contribute 2 parent judges and 2 parent project monitors. If these positions are not filled, the entire group of CCE finalists will not be allowed to attend.

IMPORTANT: If your child is selected as a finalist, you will be asked to fulfill one of these positions. In the event that we are unable to fill the positions, it will be necessary to drop finalists one at a time who are not providing parent volunteers in lieu of alternates who can provide a parent volunteer.
