Chairs' Duties:
After the five officers are elected during the April General Meeting, all the PTA Committee Chairs are appointed by the new President. The new President appoints also the Historian and Parliamentarian.
All the President's nominations are subject to the approval of the Executive Board.
Once approved, the Committee Chairs become voting members of the Executive Board, together with the five elected officers.
The Committee Chairs coordinate the work of the volunteers in each committee.

reasonable estimates of the time commitment required for each project, can be found in this document (PDF).
This Portfolio has the purpose to provide up-to-date information and to indicate clear boundaries for the volunteer jobs so that parents can feel comfortable knowing the details and the size of the job for which they are volunteering.
